Our large floral Dynasty Bowl looks as though it has been locked away in a temple for centuries! The hand painted motif depicts flowers within a frame of vines. It's a classic formed bowl with trumpet shaped sides and a flared rim made from foot-stomp porcelain clay. This porcelain clay is mixed by hand and wedged by foot introducing small mineral particles that appear as rust colored spots after being fired. The deep blue hand painted motifs insure no two pieces are identical! We like to call this collection "rustic chinoiserie" noting its classical design contrasted with its ancient appearance.
